11-Day Itinerary

Day 1-2: Zurich to Lucerne

Start in Zurich, then head to Lucerne to explore the Old Chapel Bridge, Lion Monument, and Glacier Garden Museum.

Day 3: Lucerne to Interlaken via Mt. Rigi

Take a boat ride on Lake Lucerne, ascend Mt. Rigi by cogwheel train, then ride the Luzern-Interlaken Express to Interlaken.

Day 4: Interlaken to Montreux

Journey via the GoldenPass Line through Simmen Valley to the French-speaking Montreux on Lake Geneva.

Day 5-6: Montreux to Zermatt

Visit Chillon Castle, then travel to Zermatt. Ascend Gornergrat (3,089m) for Matterhorn views and explore Riffelsee Lake.

Day 7: Zermatt to St. Moritz

Ride the Glacier Express through 91 tunnels and 291 bridges to the alpine resort of St. Moritz.

Day 8: St. Moritz to Chur

Take the Bernina Express over the Landwasser Viaduct to Chur, Switzerland’s oldest town.

Day 9: Chur to Zurich via St. Gallen

Visit the UNESCO-listed Abbey Library in St. Gallen, then return to Zurich’s Old Town and Bahnhofstrasse.

Day 10-11: Zurich to Home
